A unique survivor living on borrowed time. 975637 and 975664 sit in the sidings at Norwich station on the 19th October 1989. Converted from Gloucester Class 100 DMU’s 56300 and 51122, the unit was taken into departmental service as the ER General Manager’s saloon, then for many years as a CE inspection saloon. It met it’s fate just down the road at mayer-Newman, Snailwell in November 1990.Previous | NextAll three NR bubble cars are kept in the 'Branch siding'
