HRH The Princess Royal unveiled a statue of the famous railway artist Terence Cuneo, CVO, OBE, RGI (1907 - 1996) at Waterloo station this afternoon. The statue was commissioned by the Cuneo memorial trust in recognition of the artists contribution to the art world. It was fitting that the statue was installed at Waterloo station, as among the artists later works was a painting of a Eurostar train.

The bronze statue was executed by the well known sculptor Philip Jackson.
