| Eurostar celebrated another landmark this morning when they carried their 100 millionth passenger.
The lucky person was David Kemp, a graphic designer from Highgate in London. He was travelling to Paris with his French wife Stéphanie and their 2-year old daughter Mia. To mark the occasion Eurostar CEO Richard Brown presented David with a free pass valid for a year and also made him 'Lord Kemp' of Eurostar. The Kemps were travelling to Paris, then by TGV to Lyon where they are attending a family wedding. Their Eurostar and TGV tickets were upgraded and they were presented with other treats and pampered onboard the train. Here's a selection of pictures from the event. |
